About Me

I’m Lisa, an integrative counsellor and Transactional Analysis practitioner based in Swansea. My work is grounded in relational depth and a belief that therapy should be a place where you can show up as your real, authentic self.

I am a lesbian and enjoy working with the queer community, and I’m also neurodivergent. I’ve spent over a decade supporting other neurodivergent adults — particularly autistic and ADHD clients — in university and community settings. That experience has shaped the heart of my practice: a commitment to meeting people exactly where they are, without judgment, without pathologising, and without pretending that our struggles exist outside of the social and political world we live in.

My approach weaves together TA theory with a wide variety of counselling techniques and a deep awareness of cultural and familial scripting. I’m interested in how you learned to survive, what you had to leave behind to get here, and what becomes possible when there’s space for your whole story to unfold.

I don’t sit above you or analyse from a distance. Therapy with me is collaborative, spacious, and grounded in real human connection. Whether you’re navigating burnout, identity, relationships, trauma, or wanting to understand yourself more deeply, I offer a warm, steady, and attuned space where you can explore at your own pace — with someone who is genuinely alongside you.

Outside of my work, I’m someone who loves nature. I love walking Swansea’s beaches and exploring the mountains: I’ve lived here for over twenty years. I share my life with my dog, Dexter. I also enjoy board games, swimming and spending time with friends.
